Pros

Good salary Good team Good office culture (previously)

Cons

One significant concern was workforce planning. Hiring projections appeared to be misaligned with actual business requirements, resulting in substantial overhiring. This was followed by the layoff of more than 100 employees within a short period, creating uncertainty and negatively impacting employee morale. Additionally, the new HR in Pakistan is a major area of concern. Mostly absent minded and unable to answer, she don't even care to come out of her space. She was barely present in office and her laid-back attitude clearly shows how non serious the organization is with regard to the biggest team of the company. Employees often experienced delays in receiving guidance, support or updates on HR-related matters. Effective HR leadership requires proactive communication, accessibility, and timely resolution of issues, which were not consistently demonstrated.

Pros

The company has a strong and capable technology team with talented professionals. The product itself is well-designed and has significant potential in the market. There are opportunities to work on interesting technical challenges and learn from skilled colleagues.

Cons

Leadership is one of the company's biggest weaknesses. Senior management appears more focused on internal politics and strategic maneuvering than addressing real operational and employee concerns. HR policies lack consistency and transparency. Similar situations are often handled differently depending on the individual involved, creating an environment of favoritism and bias. Recent HR changes have further contributed to a toxic work environment with visible lack of responsiveness, unprofessional behavior and communication is unclear. Resource planning and alignment has been extremely poor, leading to major workforce reductions that impacted approximately 55% of the team. This raises concerns about long-term planning and organizational stability.
