- ELT is so insecure that they put down talented and ambitious people - ambition and dedicated to career growth is treated as being selfish and not a team player - Bro’s club is an understatement when it comes to trying to become a leader or have a voice. The only voice that gets heard is the loudest in the room and there is no hesitation to speak over you - CEO is a bully who is incredibly belittling, inappropriate, and manipulative. He makes people trust them and then tears you down, attacking people’s self esteem with the power. I left with a very low perception of myself and it took years to build back - so much drama... fueled from the top, which is ironic since one of their core values is “no drama” - loyalty means sit down and shut up/agree. Which is also interesting because another value is mutual respect - “senior leadership” must agree with owners at all times - pay is not competitive, and when you ask for promotions it is seen as a personal offense vs business negotiation - always 2 steps away from real growth
