Pros
Colleagues were great and everyone got along well
Cons
- Management has terrible planning and ideas - Management has anger issues and quick to resort to physical ways to intimidate you, eg banging table and yelling to try and scare you - After realising their mistake, they don’t apologise and instead, ask other people in the management to bring you out for a meal, as if they can bribe you to stay with that one meal - Constantly increasing workload and clients, without increasing pay. They give tight deadlines and overpromise to clients and expect you to work OT to finish up all the additional urgent work they decided to give you, without any compensation or in-lieu of time off, etc - If someone else resigns, they automatically blacklist the person. One of the bosses has said that they rarely give good reviews to employees who leave, as they are not happy that they left - Some of the management has made lewd/sexist/sexual remarks towards other employees that just feels extremely disgusting - Bosses are married and have kids, but their actions come across as trying to flirt with some staff? Just disgusting to be honest - Frequent office drinking parties that go out of control, ie people throwing up in the office, vomiting on the carpeted floors or bean bag chairs, almost falling off the parapet railing from being too drunk - When you want to resign, instead of being professional and accepting it, they get offended and mention that they thought you were ‘family’. They cannot believe that you would quit, since they brought you out for a meal to ‘apologise’ for one of the bosses mistake, and also that the salary is low but when working for ‘family’, salary shouldn’t be a factor apparently - I’m sure there’s more but I can’t think of anything else. If you value your mental/physical/emotional health and well-being, I advise everyone to avoid this place. If you enjoy partying etc, this might be the place for you
