OHT was a slowly spiraling disappointment over the 3 years I worked there. In 2022, OHT had numerous new starts and was a very different and exciting company to work for. Once those projects started to finish up and no new ones coming in due to OHT’s reputation, things drastically changed. Upper management started to pull away from us as they knew APM/PM/Superintendent lay offs were coming. While I understand this is just the normal wave of construction and “how it goes”, it was sad to see management care less and less about company culture and retaining good hard working employees. You could tell no one wanted to be there in the depressing office atmosphere. The amount of workload and stress I was under during my time there was completely unbearable for anyone to handle. I had little direction and felt like a nuisance any time I reached out for guidance.
