Senior leadership does not set up their new salespeople for success. After two decades being recognized as a top producer in the life science industry, I was excited to take my talents to a smaller start-up company where I would be calling on new accounts. Hired as a Senior Director of Business Development in an industry that averages a 6-10 month sales cycle, I was terminated after five months. Upon accepting the new position, I forfeited a bonus payout from my former employer and agreed to a sign on bonus with OMNY. My sign on bonus was to be paid out at month six, however that commitment was not honored, and I was cut two weeks before the payout was due. I learned that high turnover was a norm at this company, and many salespeople were cut well below the industry's tenure average. That’s a pathetic statistic and is evidence that OMNY does not set up their sales team for success. They are a startup company who is not a serious competitor in the RWE data sales market, which is why they have dismal sales.
