Pros

There are many interesting projects to work on. Many of my colleagues are super knowledgeable in the field and I've learned a lot from them in a short time. My manager has been supportive and makes sure that I can develop professionally in the direction I want to. The company vision is ambitious, and I feel that I'm part of something cool.

Cons

Some things are not as clear yet compared to established big companies, such as organisational structure, salary calculation, career progression, team goals etc. But there are efforts in the company to improve these aspects so I'm optimistic about the future. One thing I don't like is my laptop. It's a bulky and heavy Windows laptop without GPU. The IT department is rolling out new laptop and OS options, so hopefully it will be resolved soon. Although I must say I'm surprised at how slow it is for a startup.

Pros

It seemed like a very interesting project, but it didn’t live up to expectations. Nothing positive to add.

Cons

Completely chaotic, especially the management of the HR department. In all my years of experience, I have never seen a department so poorly led. There is a lack of clearly defined responsibilities in many of the positions.

Pros

Good compensation. Interesting technology and project, with a lot of opportunity to do early, from-scratch development and to learn.

Cons

Dysfunctional and uncooperative IT department. Poor engineering leadership. Engineering-second culture governed by industry hype. Unfeasible product roadmaps. Poorly managed. Filled with directors and high level "tech leads" with no hands-on involvement or leadership capabilities. Overly corporate, bureaucratic culture for a startup company with no income.
