Pros
Unlimited PTO, flexible working hours and great colleagues to work with (but most of them were let go or left)
Cons
I joined when the company was expanding, there were a lot of good things that were sold to me during the interview process but nothing came to fruition. Shortly after I joined, the company underwent its first-ever restructuring. Then again, again, to the point where eventually half of the company was let go. We were forced to go through a tedious performance review process for the year 2023 and were given false hopes of being rewarded. The company wants to be a tech company but the problem lies with the upper management not knowing how to build a tech company and having executives with inflated titles who are not qualified to be in their position, which leads to burning all the company's funds. The CEO definitely does not know what he is doing and even tried selling the situation as a "good" opportunity for the existing employees to "learn" something new, when obviously the employees have to do more for one paycheck. We were also told not to say "bad" things about the company so they could lure new people into joining the company to fight the fire that they had started. The company once again secured another round of funding but unsure how long can the company last, especially with more and more of the upper management and executives leaving the company.
