So far not so great - Customer Service Ocean State Job Lot Employee Review

The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. If you're a real pro, go somewhere with more professionalism because at this point, especially if you're young and hoping to move up in your career with experience gained here, you'd be making a big mistake. I may revise this review at some point but for now, I can say that of the 9 various supervisors I work with, only one knows my job description. It's a newly created position so to be fair, let's see how things unfold, but for now, there are 4 upper management who should all know line by line what it is I'm to be doing and every indication is they do not. I will be learning whether or not they take their own policies seriously enough to act, but I've three times in less than 3 weeks, been left in situations where I first, don't even belong, second, am facing expectations that are so unrealistic (less than 3 weeks on the job) that it's absurd and finally, am treated by the remaining supervisory individuals with a tad bit of hatred and misplaced anger. The manager knows my job description but has seriously failed, so far, to communicate with the others what they can and cannot expect or demand of me. I have my own plan to address this asap; the proof will be in any results I see (and so far that promises to be more disrespect) but will gladly update and share any results and can only hope them to be all positive ones.
