Pros

It feels good knowing that you are part of a company that develops medications that have changed millions of lives all over the world. There are some opportunities to cross train and move into a management role if you so desire. The benefits are decent, but the overall pay is underwhelming.

Cons

Octapharma will use and abuse you until you say you've had enough. If you decide to take on a management role, be prepared to work endless hours and be on call 24/7 in case any equipment fails. The company has seen extreme turnover due to the fact that they mistreat and underpay their employees. The only holidays you won't be working are Christmas Day and New Year's Day, and a majority of centers are open at least 12 hours a day/7 days a week. Octapharma only cares about the sanity and image of their corporate employees. The company expects perfection from their line staff with minimal compensation. The entire fleet is severely understaffed, but OPI refuses to acknowledge the root causes and find solutions. This is a classic case of a company that could be incredible, but they have become too greedy. They care more about money and the rapid expansion of the business than they do the people who make it possible.

Pros

Competitive pay, easy work, great benefits.

Cons

Unexpected additional tasks specifically for MP’s that were someone’s only job in the past (for 0 additional compensation), toxic leadership (specifically the COM’s as they do not possess the skills to manage people in the way a legitimate manager would-hense why they were only ever supervisors previously) that ended up in the positions they have due to recent restructuring, micromanaging everyone to oblivion, complete and utter disrespect from those unfortunate people in make shift supervisory roles.
