High turn over industry, high stress, unhygienic donors, rude donors, employee favoritism, management apathy, not much room for growth. They tell you it is a "stepping stone" job but it is not. They don't care if you have education. Also don't care when you are suffering at the hands of rude, impatient donors or warm body coworkers. Favoritism and cronyism is what gets you the promotion, not hard work. On top of this, you have to endure audits where well paid executives from corporate come in to tear you apart. Oh and lets not forget the exposure to blood borne pathogens and sharp instruments.
