Pros
To be honest, it is a job and stable employment. There is little nonsense, you show up, get your work done and don't mess up... no one bothers you. Usually, anything you need to know is written out or emailed to you, you never have a dumb supervisor or multiple supervisors telling you what to do, literally, no one has told me what to do in months - I do my job and go home. Pay is decent, could use more... Benefits are crap but still better than my wife's... and vacation time is surprisingly good (most places have given up on this). And there is a bonus paid in a lump once a month, it is kind of a joke- I have not done anything but show up and do what they pay me to do and I get a full bonus, its a few hundred bucks - score!
Cons
The benefits are bad, it is not a con really because my wife's are worse. I would like that price to go down and coverage go up.
