Like any state party work or frankly work in the democratic ecosystem as a whole, this career path can be incredibly stressful. I don't think this is innate in how the Ohio Democratic Party runs, and every other organization in this space butts into this reality.

Ostensibly, these are regularly, at least, "the people who care", if that is important. What I mean here is that even in the case of normal, typical modern uppercase Job malarkey, you can genuinely rest assured that the people you work with are there because there are prosocial changes that you and they would both prefer to see happen.

No one is immune to falling victim to the belief that a job description with more words than yours entitles them to belittle you, dismiss you, and think poorly of you.
