Pros
I worked on the LATAM team at Okta, Inc., and overall it’s a strong, very behind in the Brazil market, and I don’t believe they will catch up!
Cons
I worked on the LATAM team at Okta, Inc., and overall it’s a strong brand with solid technology and a talented workforce. However, from a leadership perspective, the organization in LATAM often feels anchored in an older playbook that doesn’t fully reflect the realities of today’s market. There’s a noticeable gap between strategic direction and on-the-ground execution, and at times leadership conversations seem more rooted in legacy assumptions than in current customer dynamics or competitive pressures. The intent is there, but the adaptability and fresh perspective required to unlock the region’s potential sometimes feel muted. This can make it challenging for high performers looking for a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. While the compensation structure (OTE) appears attractive, quota attainment across the team is limited, which impacts actual earning potential. For professionals considering the LATAM team, it remains a reputable place to build experience—but be prepared for a leadership style that may feel more traditional and less responsive to modern market realities.
