Pros
Borne out of John Olson's brain, this agency has gone through some big ups and downs since I left, not the least of which was losing John. I worked with some of the most smart, talented, funny, genuinely GOOD human beings during my time there. We did some great work for some great clients and really very good work for terrible clients. Was a great experience for me.
Cons
It's all hearsay from current and former employees, but it seems like the passion is gone at OLSON. Once they were no longer an independent agency, no notable work has come out of there, with the exception of the digital space and PR. OLSON Engage seems to be doing great stuff, but there doesn't seem to be the creative fire and excitement that were once a crucial part of the business. Agencies come and go all the time, but this place was special at one time and it's a shame that it seems to have gone out the window for the most part.
