Decent pay and bonuses in comparison to other gigs
Cons
You are treated like an employee but worse, they expect you to be available to be in a team huddle if you take a day off during the week, that is not being a contractor and having control over your schedule, its probably not legal as well

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you found the pay and bonuses to be competitive compared to other opportunities. Ensuring fair and competitive compensation is important to us.
We understand your concerns about the expectations placed on Independent Contractors (ICs) and the need to balance flexibility with operational requirements. As a 1099 role, maintaining contractor autonomy is a priority, and your feedback about team huddles and scheduling will be shared with management to ensure alignment with the contractor model. If you’d like to share more details about your experience, we encourage you to reach out to Sue.Kelly@oiteam.com.
Thank you again for your valuable input—it helps us identify areas for improvement and better support our contractor community.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re glad you appreciate the flexibility of being able to choose your own hours and workdays. Since Omni Interactions offers 1099 contractor opportunities, pay rates are set per contract rather than adjusted like a traditional employee wage. Contractors can, however, explore new contracts as they become available, which may offer different pay structures or incentives.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience!
Good culture at least for my project. Fair pay. Managers that care even if it feels like a lot of stuff "bad" about the project is out of their hands because it's set by the company we are contacting for
Cons
Hours can be hard to come by and if / when the project you're working on ends it can be a while before a new one pops up. Contract work so you pay self employment taxes

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback, and we're glad to hear that you've had a positive experience with your project's culture, pay, and support from your leaders. We know that when client-driven policies feel out of a support leader's control, it can be frustrating, and we appreciate you recognizing the effort our support leaders put in despite those constraints.
We hear you on the challenges with hours and gaps between projects — this is one of the harder realities of contract-based work, and we're continually working to improve project pipeline visibility and minimize downtime between assignments. We also recognize that self-employment tax responsibilities are an adjustment for many independent contractors, and we try to provide resources to help make that transition easier.
Your point about certification is valuable feedback. We're always evaluating how to make certification as effective as possible, and input like yours — especially from someone who's experienced different approaches — helps us shape those decisions going forward.
Thanks again for your honest and balanced review. We're glad to have you as part of the team.
