Pros

The pay was decent and the benefits were good. Most colleagues are fantastic and are willing to go above and beyond to help you complete your job.

Cons

Leadership - the executive team has no clear direction and is constantly pivoting their strategy without any research. They read one article or a book and completely change the culture of the company. The worst part is, they request feedback and candidness, but if you don't just agree with everything leadership is saying, even if you provide research they put you on their naughty list and it's only a matter of time before you are encouraged to leave or let go. The worst part is that leadership will act like your best friend and to your face tell you that they appreciate your honest, that they encourage experiments, and then create all the hurdles possible to prevent you from actually doing your job. The core of the company has all be there for more than 8 years. They were all friends that happened to fall into creating a software company and have no formal training in running departments they are running.

Pros

Great company and culture for someone who wants to do great work with smart people. The platform works and has a clear use case for customers. Customers actually like it and it helps them grow their business. Company has a no BS culture which is great. No outside investors keeps culture focused on what matters.

Cons

The recent change to travel policy is dumb and short sighted. You can’t ask people to travel for work then make them pay for their hotel rooms.
