      Pros

      There's a lot of stuff happening all the time. It's really interesting, and I rarely have dull days. Process and bureaucracy are pretty minimal. The company is growing, and I really believe there's an opportunity to make a difference with the mission of creating a fairer global marketplace. The summer and Christmas parties are pretty generous and enjoyable events. When it can fit into the tight timelines there is appetite to improve the code and modernise process and infrastructure. Our new head of development is pushing process and structure in a good direction (scrum, data-driven decisions, reasonable push-back on changing sprint commitment). I've worked in frantic chaos, I've worked in turgid bureaucracy. OnBuy is closer to the former than the latter, and trying to find a balance which will allow fast progress with a reasonable amount of care over what goes out.

      Cons

      There's a lot of stuff happening all the time. It can be chaotic, it can be stressful, it can be pressured. It can sometimes be frustrating to have to compromise technical excellence for pragmatic delivery within tight timelines. There's little room for promotion with majority of positions being filled by external hiring.

      Pros

      Growing Business- loads of growth plans Fast Paced office is nice with free soft drinks Hybrid working Friendly team. The Company meet up was fun. Shares in the company Parking

      Cons

      Office is busy on the set days everyone is in the office, but can be quieter on other days. Is faced paced and you are expected to work hard - Days go so fast and its rewarding but some people don't like fast paced.

      Pros

      Most people work remotely, with no expectations to be in the office.

      Cons

      - the CEO has a champagne expectations, LEMONADE tech stack! The site is CONSTANTLY broken and we have to suffer the consequences of working around the clock to keep the site live. - Management team basically drink the CEO's Kool-aid. - Terrible culture, the office has ZERO banter. Never seen anything like it, nobody talks to each other, I mean NO CONVERSATION at all! - Expectation to work EVERY evening and weekends. The ceo will message/call you out of hours and expect an answer, even on a Saturday's and Sunday's. - EVERY 4 and 5 star review is FAKE! Read them objectively, who writes reviews like "this isn't for the faint hearted, hard work will be required". I've overheard the CEO talk about needing to "add more fake reviews to GlassDoor".
