Pros
Pay is at or above market rate. Benefits have been fine for a startup. There are some very kind and very hardworking people here.
Cons
Many departments seem to be experiencing high turnover (as many companies currently are), including at the C-level. Leadership seems stressed which results in a toxic and isolating environment for the people downwind doing the work. Individual contributors are continuously asked to make magic happen, whilst leadership is simultaneously uncommunicative and not actually leading change. The culture doesn’t align to the values articulated as being important by the company when it comes to who they hire, who they promote, and how leaders communicate. Feels like we’ve been getting a lot of promises over the last year+ on what’s to come, and seen no tangible improvement on the endemic lack of process, lack of communication, high workload, etc.
