Pros
I really love working here. What you put in is what you get out. It really is. You may hear some be frustrated that they haven't progressed to where they think they should be, or not get paid what they think they deserve, but most probably are not putting in 100% in the things that matter. (Attitude, productivity, quality, attendance/tardiness, going above and beyond). You will not get promoted by sitting in your seat long enough but will if you are invested, engaged, and willing to get things done instead of complain that someone else should do their job better. My team is amazing and everyone gets along and wants to help each other. We really have to work at keeping a positive culture and it starts at the team level. There are team builders, competitions, and initiatives to help motivate the team. Its something you have to be willing to contribute towards and not just expect to happen. I think the benefits are generous and very competitive.
Cons
The pay can be better. Although everyone is hired at an entry level pay in Operations, there are small increases in salary after that. Team Leads should be paid more for all they do. I have heard Supervisors think they "deserve" more for being here long enough, but are not willing to put in any extra if it's whats needed for the team or company. We lost some of our edge with all the recent mergers but I do feel we will see more investment in 2015 in getting our "mojo" back. There are so many protocols it can be paralyzing to figure out how to do something without getting an error reported on you.
