Pros

In 13 years I've never seen such low contract levels and worse leads. Run the other way. The longer you work the deeper into debt you will go with the companies while management is taking more than its fair share. They market themselves as a organization of faith. Run!

Cons

Cons describes the whole mess. Run away

Pros

One Life America is an Independent Marketing Organization (IMO). They are essentially the middle-man between you and the Life Insurance Carriers whose products you will be selling. The Insurance Carrier will provide the contract/product to the IMO --> The IMO will recruit/hire you to sell that insurance carrier's product --> You sell the insurance and get commission from it. Learning how life insurance works is relatively easy. Its mostly self study, but if you put in the effort (2-4 hours/day depending on your previous knowledge), you will get the material. Getting the license is the easiest part of the job. The hardest part of the job is actually going door-to-door and selling insurance products to the prospect as they aren't expecting you. L.I. Sales is also a saturated market. When you sell a policy, you will have a 9-month grace/chargeback period. You'll get your commission when you sell the policy; however, if the prospect cancels their policy within 9 months, you must pay back all of the money you were paid so if you sell someone a policy, MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THEM THE BEST RATE POSSIBLE!!!

Cons

Commission Based; In my experience, I paid for my own leads as well
