Pros
This, like any company, is dependent on your department or group, but I love the team I'm on and have great respect for my manager. Excellent amount of PTO, well above industry standard.
Cons
Beyond the above, though, there's increasingly very little to enjoy about the actual day to day job. Continually changing expectations or piling on more work with no additional incentive. Oh, but hey, you can get paid more by working more OT & Saturdays. Monetary incentive is simply not there to keep top talent. There's next to no advancement or career opportunities, not just in my department - which is a very limited, linear and singular path for advanvement - but within the company as a whole. Especially now, as I have it on good authority that OMF has put a "freeze" on any job opportunity if you don't live near where a particular team is out of. The simple explanation for that is OneMain is not a remote-first company. Not a bad thing in and of itself; this is plenty common in the corporate world. But this just means you're SOL if you want to stay with the company (my first preference) but don't live in an area where other departments have offices in. There are several departments I'd like to look into more but alas, that's not an option so I'm left very short list of career decisions to make.
