Get used to arbitrary management - Vice President OneSource Relocation Employee Review

Pros

Above average pay and decent work/live balance for consulting staff (considering industry). Nice office in good location. Nice people on the team there.

Cons

Small company with husband/wife owners. The principals here are not good, CFO/owner terrorizes the staff with abusive behavior. President/Owner is almost part-time, takes very little responsibility, a very unprofessional environment. Management is arbitrary and not open. For example, they don’t do reviews because they claim they communicate constantly but have surprised several people with termination. Recommend a google search on the owners before coming aboard.

Pros

Great team of people. Great management. Eve the President and owner is amazing woman, so dynamic and full of energy. Very passionate about relocation and her company. The company has so many great ideas.

Cons

The company is relatively small compared to other organizations. Management travels a lot to meet with clients and prospects. Company is moving to a new office building, adding 10 minutes to my commute.

Pros

Since joining OneSource, I have come to understand what I was missing at my previous positions. This company understands customer service, maintaining a work-life balance that allows us to focus on the customer and spend the time that is necessary to do this job right. People here are rewarded for individual and team performance. Everyone is empowered to do the right thing for the customer, but is also held accountable (and rewarded)for their performance.

Cons

Working for smaller company, they lack some of the perks and benefits of large firms. Either you like working with a small tight knit team of people or you like being a cog in the machine, this type of environment is not for everyone.
