Pros

A nice friendly work environment, Good benefits, Surrounded my lots of car/automotive enthusiasts and techinical experts, everyone is very happy to offer a hand and help with any automotive issues you face, even if it is as simple as arranging your MOT for during work hours, Friendly Senior team members and management, Great HR team,

Cons

Pushing shoddy products onto customers, A very "white male" vibe in the office, Using out of date technologies, sometime leading to code only one person in the office can actually read/understand. However, due to the current company merges I expect this will change soon.

Field failure rates really good on new products thanks to quality developers, automated test rigs, and tight QA gates.

Cons

Some tech debt from the Autologic/DrewTech days still pops up in older codebases.

Pros

Most of the coworkers and middle managers are decent people.

Cons

The metrics the company uses to measure productivity is inherently flawed. It's supposed to reward you for the amount of time that is expected a task to take but that is not consistent for a large amount of the possible tickets. Also, majority of the department works from 8:30-5 but if you're unlucky enough to be asked to work from 9-5:30 you will always be at a disadvantage compared to everyone else.
