Pros
Great Working Environment: My career with Orbit originally started 5 years ago as an IT Graduate. During that time, I loved every minute of working in an IT department that is full of talent and home to some of the best problem solvers I have ever met! Colleagues were always genuinely supportive and always willing to help me with my projects. Exciting Role: As a Power Platform Analyst, I had the opportunity to collaborate with teams across various business areas, enabling me to create strong relationships with colleagues from multiple departments. The Power Platform team continues to grow and with the introduction of a new and dedicated strategy, is only going to offer more value to the business going forwards. Work-Life Balance: One of the aspects that I appreciated the most at Orbit was the superb work-life balance. This balance is evident in the flexible work arrangements that they offer and a working culture that truly values personal time and well-being. Leadership: The new CEO, Phil Andrew, has a clear vision for the company's future and this was already starting to make a noticeable impact. This new appointment will steer Orbit towards an exciting future, positively affecting the work culture and overall business strategy. Internal Communications: The communications team at Orbit deserve a special mention. Their dedication to keeping the organisation informed and engaged with key initiatives greatly enriched the company culture and definitely strengthened the overall sense of community. Other pros: - Holiday Allowance: Generous holiday policy, coupled with the flexibility to buy or sell up to 5 days. - Pension Scheme: Excellent matching scheme for pension contributions (up to 10%). - Health Insurance: Provided by Orbit and operated by Aviva.
