Pros

Flexible working (no more than any other company)

Cons

Poor culture within Orbit, as juniors you are blamed for any mistakes and not given any praise or rewards. Managers are not trained to be managers and most staff work from home, which means there are no meaningful relationships with colleagues and everyone works in silos

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re really sorry to hear your experience with us wasn’t the best. At Orbit, we strive to create a supportive culture for all team members, so it’s concerning to hear you felt a lack of recognition and support. We’re continuously working to provide managers with the tools and resources they need to effectively lead and support their teams. While flexible working has its benefits, we understand that it can sometimes lead to challenges in building meaningful relationships. We’re exploring ways to improve engagement and collaboration, both remote and in-person. We appreciate your feedback, and we’re focused on making improvements to our services and the way we operate, and changes are already underway.

Pros

- Good benefits and fair salary - Great colleagues

Cons

- Awful management who provide little to no support and terrible leadership who don't seem to know what's going on - Bullying and intimidation is rife, throughout most teams, with fear of job security - Poor planning and rollout of services that are cancelled at the last minute - Inadequate tools and support to do the job employed for - Policies that are designed to intimidate customers - A CEO who is running the company to the ground, mass redundancies and even more mass sickness, with already stretched workloads being stretched even further - Development only possible if you are willing to compromise on morals

We’re really sorry to hear you feel this way. This isn’t the experience we want for our colleagues and isn’t reflective of the culture we strive to create here at Orbit. We’re committed to fostering an environment where all colleagues feel respected, heard, and valued and we’re continually working to support that goal. We also want to be clear that bullying or intimidation is not acceptable and doesn’t align with our values, and we encourage anyone with any concerns to report them, so they can be addressed properly. Periods of change can be difficult, but that doesn’t remove our responsibility to listen, communicate, and support our people. Thank you taking the time to share this feedback. Hearing these concerns helps us understand where we need to improve and do better.
