Pros

I LOVE working at OrderUp. I came from a recruiting background - high anxiety, high quotas, and lots of micromanaging. It is the complete opposite here. Everyone is so based on work-life balance and work hard, play hard - come in when you want, leave when you want - just get your work done. We have happy hours every month, free catered lunches every Friday, flexible PTO, and people are really supportive of each other - professionally and personally. It's an amazing time to grow within something that's bigger than yourself and feel inspired by the work everyone is doing around you. I couldn't love this place more if I tried.

Cons

I think sometimes there could be better communication between departments on projects. We can get where we need to much quicker if we all work together!

Pros

Working here is pretty cool, since a lot of the positions are remote. Working from home always has its perks and when your in the office, the environment is pretty laid back to. Most of the staff is friendly and seems like everybody enjoys what they do. Startup vibes when in the office with game nights, free gear, etc. The company, like many others...usually would promote from within, which is great since people often would move up quickly. Working here was mostly positive. Pay is decent , especially for someone finishing or fresh out of college. A few coworkers were able to move into their own places during employment.

Cons

Since you work from home in some positions ,you have these check-ins with management that aren't too useful. You have to stay on top of numbers like a sales job, which sucks since your customer service. You are graded on call performances which is fine, but you could be doing everything perfectly and still not always have perfect scores. Not too bad, but working from home full time will keep you in the house ALOT, so remote jobs have their own pros and cons regardless of the company you work for. Lastly, the logging process of customer and restaurant issues is very tedious, since you literally log every move you make - probably the worst part of the position is filling out tickets. I believe that's mostly what I can say legally . lol
