Pros
.It can be a great place to meet nice people and I learned a fair amount of baking techniques from fellow employees and you can bond over the hate towards all the BS that goes on in that establishment but I would not recommend working there
Cons
Somehow the kindest and coolest people end upw parking there as employees yet get completely destroyed and kicked down by being overworked and treated with very little respect. Don't even think about expressing your concerns or else your I'll be shut down and gaslit with almost impressive tactics. The owner is one of the most condescending person I have ever met. The manager is simply incompetent in their job. The training is pretty much non existent and I've seen people have to train others after only being there 2 weeks. The pay is not enough for how hard everyone is expected to work, everything feels unorganized. I have never met someone who works at Origin (even for just a month) that didn't come out of it burnt out and frustrated with the management. They make so many promises and don't follow through with any of them.
