Pros
I've worked as a software consultant at ASML through Orion Engineering for a year. The recruiting process at Orion was smooth and the target positions at ASML were clearly defined from the beginning. I received some preliminary coaching before interviewing at ASML which ended up being rather useful. The offered salary matched ASML payscale. Throughout the year, my Orion business manager was often getting in touch, and followed my progress at the client company by means of on-site quarterly meetings. The HR team at Orion has also been very helpful on many occasions to answer my questions, apply for the 30% ruling or provide me with documents I needed, all in a timely manner. Additionally, Orion proposes an extensive selection of soft skills trainings, however I didn't make use of them. Worth mentioning maybe, the End of the Year party was pretty nice. Overall, a great experience, where I felt valued as an employee and not considered a cash-making resource, as other consulting companies do.
Cons
Less attractive incentives than those of fix AMSL employees Trainings selection could benefit some more technical trainings
