Pros
working on your own, meeting new people
Cons
The money they pay does not worth the time and pressure. get to go in the new York area if u want to make money cause they still pay per hour there. i apply on their website for 35k+commission,once in the office ,they gave me 23k+commission contract?!?.and the commission is 21 percent of whatever dollar u make above 12k on your route.i was dying to know exactly how much i will end up taking home. and here is what i took home from my first month as a full route manager: 1800 after tax( salary +commission): i worked 214 hours to get it and i drove 2112 miles for it. now that i signed up for 401 and health plan that cost me another 300 dollars , my net revenue will be 1500 for the month!! Damn, cant pay my bills, cant save money from it. Again it depends on your route , your state and your branch. i know some friends who r doing good on other states for the same job.was not just lucky to apply in a poor branch and state.
