Pros
Great job for folks who love the outdoors and working with youth and people. It's a small company and everyone is super warm, welcoming and accepting of each other. Definitely get that warm fuzzy feeling, job satisfaction, etc.
Cons
Only con is the pay--at least starting pay, for my position--is not super sustainable for the cost of living in San Diego. Definitely a lot of turnaround because of this, especially amongst field staff. I think the field work can also be quite physically challenging due to the nature of what the job entails, hauling gear, etc. Definitely open-minded folks who work here but mostly liberal-minded, if that's a con for anyone.
