Cons
Very toxic work environment. Upper management does not have best interest of employees OR the students the organization serves in mind. Biggest goal is to be competitive with and better known than other organizations, instead trying to better OTL to provide better services for students they serve. It’s not uncommon for employees to leave meetings with upper management crying. Upper management will dismiss complaints of abusive supervisor behavior and tell subordinates that they should just forgive supervisor for their faults. Very high turnover due to chaotic work environment and management’s dismissal of growing mental health issues stemming from supervisor’s treatment of staff. Will offer vacation and sick benefits but make you feel guilty for using them. Upper management is not transparent with board of directors about issues within the organization. Management does not closely supervise grant funded programs, resulting in programs not being run to the detriment of the students the grant funds were supposed to benefit. This organization lacks integrity and oversight at all levels.
