Pros
Real, authentic, and talented people. Lots of freedom and flexibility. Cool mix of clients and variety of work.
Cons
If you are very independent and self-sufficient, you can thrive at Overit. If you are proactive you can definitely grow your career and expand your position over time. It’s not abnormal for people to change positions to better fit their strengths and interests. However, if you're someone who needs direction and wants concrete policies and procedures, it can be hard to succeed. Depending on your department, there is not much training. I know they’re trying to create more training and procedures, but I also know it’s very easy to get preoccupied with client work and it’s easy for internal efforts to get put on the back burner. If you’re considering Overit, consider the kind of work culture you want. Their culture is built around being "rock stars" and "media rebels" so if you wouldn't describe yourself that way, it might not be a good fit. If you’re looking for a more casual atmosphere you might love it, but don’t come in expecting standard corporate. Good luck!
