Pros
It is definitely a pay check
Cons
So many, at first the job was great had almost no complaints there was plenty to work on to get your time. Over the years its steadily got worse. The rail road company is constantly narrowing what they will pay to be repaired. There's constant stress on getting production when there's a low amount of work the stress is even higher. Constantly being told that there's plenty to do by supervisors that are not out and about actually observing the fact that there's hardly anything to do. At the same time expect quality work and in my opinion you can't have both with what little there is to do. Hiring people with no experience at all and paying them more then those whove been working for the company for a while and have had previous experience before working for the company. They expect more production then hours worked. Never getting a raise and I mean you'll be lucky if you do. Equipment sucks. To be honest I'd feel bad for leaving a review like this but lately I've felt neglected and I feel other employees feel the same way.
