Pros

Great culture and friendly people, lots of interesting work to do, opportunity for you everywhere

Cons

Pay bands not published outside of job ad so difficulty understanding if you're being compensated fairly compared to others in the company

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience - it’s great to hear you’re enjoying the culture, the people, and the variety of work. Creating an environment where Pace‑Setters can do meaningful, interesting work and grow quickly is something we care deeply about. We also really appreciate your honest feedback on pay transparency. This is an area we’re actively working to improve as we continue to grow (currently at a rapid pace). We recognise how important it is for everyone to feel confident that they are rewarded fairly and consistently across the business. Our approach to pay is aligned to our Mastery Framework, which is designed to ensure clarity and consistency in how roles are defined, developed and rewarded. We know, however, that we need to do more to make this as visible and easy to understand as it should be for everyone. It is currently under review and we'll share more in the coming months. Feedback like yours helps us prioritise what matters most as we continue to improve. If you’re open to it, we’d always welcome further thoughts directly as we shape this further. Thank you again for your contribution to Pace.

Pros

Very ambitious - rapidly growing in capability and scale: driven by a dynamic leadership group Company is very active in identifying new opportunities, clients and specialisms to move into Interesting projects and clients Supportive colleagues across company - very welcoming and friendly Leadership are accessible and willing to have open conversations and listen to suggestions or concerns.

Cons

- Remotely based teams or individuals become isolated from other project teams and office-based staff - Speed and scale being operated at may not allow much time to breathe at times on some projects - issue of resources being stretched across projects does happen - Company goals are ambitious, and pressure to hit targets does sometimes feel like it casts a shadow if there any potential risks to achieving them

Pros

Such a cool leadership team, really great values and really cares for its employees. Truly great company.

Cons

Working full time in client offices means it can feel like you work more for the client than for PACE. Staying in touch with consultants on other accounts is difficult, as a result.
