Depending on who your manager is (managers change a lot at this company and so do departments and structures), travel perks can be available. You get to work in the dive industry. If you're a diver that might at first seem awesome.

Promotions only available to higher levels and only if you're liked by upper management or if people leave or get fired. Any time there are people who leave or are laid off there are lots of "promotions." Long term hard workers not promoted. Pay unequal depending on where you work. Contracts favor company and try to take as many rights as they can from freelancers. Seek adventure save the ocean is just a marketing slogan. Company still uses plastic, eats at seafood restaurants, and just had the bottom line in mind. This company will damage your love for diving and the underwater world. Fair warning. Annual reviews in no way tied to salary. And salary and raises don't meet inflation. Company has real issues behind the scenes: dated systems or lack thereof, trying to weasel out of paying contractors, late payments to clients consistently. Many non divers in positions that could really benefit from divers. This is a highly technical industry and serious active divers should be in key positions. Remote and in person employees treated unequal. Cons are endless. Don't work for this company. Benefits are not great. Company says they are but they're standard and even subpar compared with modern companies and software businesses. PADI is a marketing and sales business. Money is the bottom line make no mistake.
