Pros
I have worked in the IT field for 39 years and have done just about all aspects of computers from Mainframe to storage. I have had really bad managers (my last company) and some good managers over the years. I would have to say my current manager, Scott Bollar, is the best manager I have had in the whole 39 years of my jobs in IT. Scott always has my back and always looks for opportunities for me to engage in. I have looked thru the reviews on this website to get a feel for what kind of problems or concerns that the employees had. All the reviews, good and bad seem to have one common theme, opportunity. For the employees that whine about their problems, they seem to harp on not taking advantage of their own opportunity. Opportunity is just that, something that you have to take advantage of. Your success is not going to be handed to you, otherwise it would be easy for everyone. I think PGTEK gives everyone the same great opportunity and they let us, the employees determine what to do with each opportunity. I saw that I had a huge opportunity with both PGTEK and the companies that we work with like HP and Hitachi. What I love is that I could have an opportunity with either HP or Hitachi and still stay full time with PGTEK, so I get the best out of both companies.
Cons
I would love it if PGTEK would have the money to fund some hardware so I can train other PGTEK and HP employees on the aspects of the 3PAR storage. This is only a goal as I am still working with Scott to have either HP or Hitachi come up with the hardware for training.
