      Pros

      Market Niche, has market dominance on genetically engineered pigs, intelligent science/staff, international company.

      Cons

      Low starting pay. I was part of the now defunct management trainee program where you start out on a pig farm, was never told of this experience, had to work with lots of ignorant folk in backwoods Kentucky. Witnessed lots of animal abuse, horrid conditions, OSHA violations and employees that hate college graduates and set you up for failure. HR dept also lacks integrity, many of which were laid off when the company moved to Hendersonville TN from Franklin KY. What goes around comes around.

      Pros

      Nice facility, good parking, clean bathrooms, free soft drinks.

      Cons

      Recently the HR department has become a complete mess. Extremely unethical, zero integrity or maturity. Consistent manipulation of employees to discuss fellow employees behind their back. This standard definitely trickles down throughout the company. When someone in authority decides they want to replace an employee, HR will get it done regardless of embellishment or deception. No moral compass of any kind. My opinion does not reflect the entire company, however. Each office is only as good as their management and this particular office is lacking to say the least.
