Pros

I've joined PLATFORM after couple of year of freelancing, so I was bit afraid about loosing some of the freedoms that freelancers have. But it wasn't the case. In PLATFORM you enjoy work freedom, you can manage your time as it fits you best and everyone is cool about that. Also this is a place where you can grow as professional and push your skill to higher level. You are surrounded by other great designer, that are willing to help you and share their knowledge. Working in PLATFORM is not your usual job, that pays your bills. It's about working on great projects and learning new skills all the time, while having fun and personal freedom.

Cons

Guys in the office are too good in playing NHL and I can rarely beat them.

Pros

As I start working in this absolutely great company first I did expect just a another office routine, but o boy was I surprised when I met with my great leadership and not mentioned my new working crew. No more morning stress - flexible hours, no more working stress - just finish your job on time. This is really like working FAMILY. A really great place to work and create.

Cons

none at this time, thank you

Pros

- You get to work on exciting projects with cool brands - CEO and COO are very down to earth. They are very hands off and give you a lot of autonomy, but are also available when you need guidance and feedback. They crack jokes and have fun too. They are very transparent and everyone in the company is informed about company goals and plans. - The design team is very close knit. We all sit right next to each other, work together, and often go to lunch together. - We have a lot of fun. We have a drum set and guitar and have jam sessions a lot. We have happy hour at the office every Thursday. - There are opportunities for travel. I was sent to San Francisco for a month to work onsite at a clients office. That was my first time to SF so it was really cool.

Cons

- Sometimes, we have to work until late at night. Most of the time, the workload isn't too heavy, but sometimes, there is a tight deadline or new demands from a client and then we have to complete a lot in a short amount of time. - The CEO can be a bit blunt with feedback. He doesn't sugar coat. He will be honest and straightforward in telling you if the quality of your work design is not good enough. Some people can't handle that.
