Pros

Much of middle management is good and understands, and some recent promotions/consolidation helped a lot. Current CFO is very knowledgeable and does everything he can to improve the company financially and culturally. There are a lot of really good people who want to succeed and see you succeed, too.

Cons

The CEO cannot properly judge talent or find a way to act other than as a child. This trickles down throughout the company, creating poor morale, especially in the wake of recent downsizing of all back-office and management departments. Sales people are left nearly on their own with an overworked and dwindling team trying to keep the day to day running. Quality people are doing everything in their power to flee.

Pros

The Colleagues and relationships you make with your co-workers. Building a book of business, and fast paced environment. Unlimited Growth Potential.

Cons

The direction the company is headed in and the toxicity of an everchanging management structure. As someone who spent almost a decade with PLS; I can say fully and honestly, they do not care about you. This is a company to build experience with and move on from. If you are a $20K rep for more than 6 months, after you roll out, they will move off of you. You will be terminated with no second thought--other reps will poach your clients and potentially ruin any relationships. Furthermore, management tends to play favorites--If you show growth potential, they will feed you, but the moment you fail on one opportunity--you will be turned over. This is not the job for anyone who questions their own ability and work ethic. PLS Hires in classes - they will hire 30-40 people at a time, and in 3 months, 4 to 5 people of that class will remain. The turn over is extremely high and there is no job security. Finally, even if you are a top performer, they will not hesitate to get rid of you.
