All inside (phone) sales, unfavorable/inefficient sales system, poor managerial oversight/support, high-stress job, inability to control logistic outcomes (yet still held responsible), occasional mandated work over weekends, very little funding for travel (out-of-pocket), everything is numbers-based, impractical sales benchmarks, product's success (logistic services) determined solely by price, company favors higher-earning employees (boosts the already successful seniors vs. new and struggling) regardless of work ethic
Ended up getting a job with another company doing *outside* sales, where I have my own designated territory, with reasonable sales expectations/goals, doing *very* well now, much better than I was at PLS but it's a lot easier to succeed when you work for a company with an effective/rational system of sales. And it's 100x less stressful! Little dissapointed in myself for spending so much time/effort at PLS, wasn't worth it!
