- Teammates works on 12 hours daily on average, sometimes over 20 hours like Big 4, which is totally unreasonable for a media agency. No compensation leave and you need to back in office sharp at 9am for the other day. - Meetings starts at 5pm at least, sometimes 7pm (which is already passed office hour), OT is a must and is opt-in once you onboard. Do not imagine you can have honeymoon for the first few days, you may have it on the first day, but from the second day onwards, you order dinner with your colleagues everyday. - No work-life balance, lunch at office & dinner at office, no time to meet family & friends (one of my teammates did not see her husband for few days & she is totally get used to it). - Salary at monthly minimum wage. Oh no, we work over 20 hours daily, so it is actually lower than minimum wage. - One-man rules, only the boss has say then everyone just follow. Boss treat people like a slave, inclusive is totally a dream there, even his daughter can only listen, nod and work. - Capable & reasonable colleagues left or leaving, only those who are incapable or cannot find other jobs stay, so you can imagine how disaster it is internally and how worse the colleagues' quality there. - Totally unstrategic and poor business leadership, you would not want to learn from the boss & leaders, they just keep fail on acquiring new business and tender projects. - Companies in the same industry are evolving while boss still in the 19th century mindset, eyeing on the glory 30 years ago than seeing the present & future. - Harsh & old-styled boss, just learn to use Instagram lately and he is proud of it. - Quiet & dreadful office, a total silence that you can clearly hear air-con running. - Boss hates young people and shows no respect to them. He likes hire old people and those who sit still and follow procedures. - Chaotic management and full of politics & dramas. - 100% turnover, only old seafood remains, they feed on gossips instead of do actual work. They have attitude issues, they impose upon those who are kind. - Not much senior level, all are gone already, be it Executive Office, Sales Team, Production Team, Finance, HR & IT. - Manpower shortage is really serious, one person need to take up 3 person's job at least. - Bad communication within teams and across departments. - Low staff morale. - No forward movement on career. Company does not appreciate on staff's contribution, and part of it is because the leaders rush out and take credits, instead of promote their teammates. - Office is really far in Wong Chuk Hang, actually middle of Wong Chuk Hang and Aberdeen. It is moved from Causeway Bay to Wong Chuk Hang as the company keeps shrinking and cannot afford the rent there. - Not even got Mcdonald's or cafe or proper restaurants near office. - Office surrounded by construction sites and industrial building, dusty and noisy. - If can rate this at zero star, I could have.
