The corporate leaders have DEI at the forefront of their minds. It is abundantly clear that this initiative is hurting companies all over the US and the world. We are a service-based industry and our quality of work is going to keep us on top and growing, not diversity quotas.
Also, base pay here at POWER is pretty low. The only way to make the industry standard for pay is to work way more OT and count on the year-end bonus. Without OT and the bonus, the base pay here at POWER is below industry averages by a sizable margin. Also, POWER has not increased wages to combat the massive amount of inflation we have seen in the last 3.5 years.
