Pros

Easy work, PRIVILEGE to work from home if you make it past your 90 days

Cons

Terrible training, Basically on your own, poor management, lack of sympathy, lack of direction and communication, remote is not allowed until after your 90 days and it's actually a privilege not an accomodation, not a welcoming environment, favoritism

Pros

The company actually cares about its mission. The people actually care about the mission. My position was 100% remote. My supervisor was genuinely awesome. Flexible scheduling as needed. No micromanaging (at least from my supervisor). Helping others - providing a voice to those without is pretty cool.

Cons

Salary is based on the company's local factors instead of where the employee lives, resulting in severe underpayment if you live in a higher COL state. The company tries to operate in a very corporate way, but it's still a small business so you get the worst of both worlds in many ways - e.g., review structure intended to give as few people raises as possible on the corporate side and a lot of incompetent people who have been moved up into positions because they've stayed with the company long enough rather than because they're actually good at their job on the small business side.
