Pros
Oftentimes, corporate will have lunch meetings and leave the leftovers in the lunchroom for us miserly analysts to scavenge over. The people I work with everyday are wonderful. There are admittedly some decent opportunities for acquiring new experiences - good for entry level job seekers. However, you can obtain these experiences with other, better companies.
Cons
Management is awful. The manager of my department/region is virtually absent from our workplace. In fact, they have never spoken to me, and I doubt they even know me by name. This hands off managerial style distances leadership from the laboratory and everyday workings of our group, so that business decisions rarely turn out to benefit the success of our department or the people who work here. Here at Pace, it is about trying to turn a profit on the absolute cheapest sale of analysis possible, which leaves workers with too much work to do, and leaves us unable to ever turn a profit to appease our managerial overlords. Employees are just human capitol at Pace, so definitely avoid if you have any choice in the matter. Also, in general, turnover of employees is very high, because pay is low and benefits mediocre.
