Pros
They have some very charismatic directors/coaches who essentially brain wash new starters that the insane work hours - with no basic salary or contract is legal and fair.
Some people love this kind of job and the world it presents. Which is mixers in bars after you've slogged in a shopping centre for 8 hours anyway.
Cons
- extremely long hours - I wasn't told that there would be coaching to "progress" and learn sales tactics to use on customers
- 100% commission only so in one week (my only week because it was insane) was around £40.
- Again, no contract so absolutely no employment rights. I imagine if I was sick, I would just not make any money for that period of time and there is absolutely no protection. Why work in such instability?
- I was asked persistently on the observation day about what I would tell my family about the job. I realise now it was to stop me being put off by loved ones letting me know I was part of a pyramid sales structure.
