Pros

Page 1 Solutions is turning me into a real professional. I have had a few other professional jobs, some in Internet marketing specifically, and I haven't gained nearly as much from those past jobs as I have working for Page 1 Solutions. Professional fulfillment includes: hands-on experience with my clients' websites (I can do more to fix a website than I ever thought I could without a developer background); personality training to help manage varying personalities both internally and externally; experience working with other types of marketing outside of just the website (social media, remarketing, PPC, content development, digital strategy development, videos, reviews, web design, lead tracking...); ability to manage client expectations and work load; direct lines of communication with everyone in the company; and opportunities to attend conferences both locally and across the country for professional development. Personal fulfillment includes: work-life balance (Page 1 respects the lives we all have outside of the office, but we also all get along so well that we're happy to spend time together during lunch breaks and at events outside of work hours); a management team that praises good work and achievements, pushes us to reach our professional goals, but also is there to talk if you have a troubling situation and need some guidance (this is not limited to your direct manager -- I have had plenty of private conversations with the CEO, COO and other top managers of the company); charity involvement (a company that gives back to the community is a company I am proud to be a part of); good benefits and a good 401K program; good PTO that increases with seniority at the company; and I honestly feel well-compensated for my job!

Cons

I like to think of "cons" as challenges. Working with the Internet is a challenge...things are constantly changing with things that are completely out of our control, and it can be difficult to keep up with, but that is part of the fun! I have learned more about my industry, and the industries we work with, in the past year than I have at any other job in this amount of time. Keeping up with the demand for more Internet and marketing knowledge is not everyone's cup of tea, but I value all of the knowledge I have gained working at Page 1 Solutions. Overall, as with any marketing agency, client turnover is tough to manage. There are so many marketing agencies out there that hunt for clients from other agencies. Page 1 Solutions clients are easy targets because they are successful, spend money on marketing and advertising, and already have strong marketing campaigns to start with so it's easier for a new company to prove results.

Pros

Everyone works together to create a culture of hard work and creative problem-solving. We have evolved as a company by pushing hard to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing.

Cons

We have tested and implemented a variety of systems to optimize the kitchen and dish workflow. There is always room for improvement and one day we will attain excellence.

Pros

I definitely would not say that Page 1 Solutions is a 1-star experience. There is a very casual and laid-back culture that can be quite accommodating to people of various backgrounds and skill-level. While there is limited room for upper-management advancement, Page 1 does offer opportunities in various new roles for the willing and hard-working. So long as you have reliable productivity, schedules can be flexible and employees can make unique contributions to the overall company. They hire some decent people, so you will likely enjoy the company they keep.

Cons

Every company has its flaws. And because Page 1 is so small, the imperfections are much more noticeable. There is an imbalance between those who actually work-hard and those who pretend to work hard. The management team makes questionable decisions and can be highly protective of each other. Loyalty and seniority are highly valued here, which can be frustrating to the passionate and driven who are aiming to advance quickly.
