Pros

Oppurtunities to travel and see the country. My coworkers were extremely nice and geunily pleasant to be around and work with.

Cons

Traveling is intense and you're looking at 12-16 hour days while you travel and setup new stores as a low voltage tech. Pay is not competitive, high expecations even when utilizing new softwares and hardware that are not optimized. Questionable IT practices particullary in cyber security. No on call rotation, I was on call for my entire 3 year duration 7am-9pm seven days a week 363 days a year. The company was acquired roughly 2 years ago and they have been restructering ever since, job security is none exisitant. Questionable HR practices, all of the higher ups have been freinds and have been working together for the last 2 decades, if you aren't "one of the boys" career growth is completely non exisitant. A 12 page HR report will not help you, following the rules will not help you, being really good at your job does not help you, going above and beyond will only award you with more work. Constant unexpected mass layoffs should be expected.

Pros

Pretty easy workplace at least at the location I'm at. The manager when I was there was pretty nice, and so were the workers . Nice break time , mainly good job if you need money or high school student/ young adult

Cons

Pay seems to be too low for all the things you do and have to deal with. That's one of the main reasons why I left Sometimes vendors are very rude or and you also come into contact with very rude customers, you have to deal with im going to be honest here, need more guys to work at closing, or at least a security person when close to closing. Me and other female workers at a very strange and not to pleasant encounter with a male customer when i went to close the door, and he did not want to leave. I do believe the only thing that scared him off or left quickly after talking to me is that we happened to have had a male vendor there at the time, taking a few things off his booth. if he had not been there, who knows what the male customer would have done or was up to.
