Reviewer is not a former employee or model but rather someone that applied and was declined.
We receive upwards of 100 applications per day at the company. As such, we have to decline a great number of them. At the end of the day, we're a professional management agency for models. We're not the gate keepers of the cam world. There are a lot of sites that anyone who is 18 or older can sign up on and stream. We aren't one of them. We work with webcam models that earn upwards of $100,000/year (or a lot more in some cases). And in assessing new models we ask ourselves whether an individual could reach that level or not.
It's simply not the reality of the audiences of cam sites that "everyone can make it."
We are discriminating, not discriminatory. That's our job. We accept models of all ethnicities, gender identities, ages, and body types. Everyone who applies is evaluated (read: judged) on their individual merits. If we think they'll appeal to a lot of viewers, we try to sign them.
We work very closely with the performers we do sign, it's a lot of investment on our part in terms of time and resources. We can't deploy that for someone that we don't believe is capable of succeeding. Then again, why would you want us to? Why would you want to hire us as your management company and pay us a commission from your earnings if we don't believe in you? Wouldn't you rather sign up directly with a network, cut us out, win, and then rub our stupid faces in it when you're a superstar?
