Pros
As one of the founders, I don't really get an opportunity to reflect on what it's like to be an employee at Paperform often. I wasn't going to write a review here because I thought it would just come across as biased, but then I thought, I am an employee and I work with amazing colleagues that deserved to be praised. Paperform is an incredible place to work because the people we hire genuinely care about our values. They are extremely kind but they also argue well and passionately. That means we push forward with the best ideas and approaches after we battle things out. We check our egos at the door and learn from each other. We have a laugh while we are doing it. If our families or those most important to us need us, we let each other know, and then we go and be with those special people. They come first, and the people at Paperform recognise this. We also value Product Led Growth - making high quality software, giving it to the people, and then supporting them the best we can. I love going to work every day.... and that's despite being a founder! It could easily have become a massive stressful burden for me as an employee within my remit of operations and finance, but it's not. It really is an awesome place to work.
Cons
Sometimes I spend too much time working because I get excited by the pace. We are constantly growing, and that will always create some tension and anxiety. We're very up-front about that, but if you like building things and evolving then it'll be a "pro", but if you don't like a lot of change or having things thrown at you on the fly, I imagine it would be quite stressful.
