I was hired to work at the lab, the same day after hours of training they told me they couldn’t give me the job and I was offered the multi job position on doing Covid tests with the promise I would have my lab job back. We are several in the same situation. I accepted, I needed a job but I discovered that to work for Paradigm you must be a happy sheep. Doing all what the supervisors tell you, and when they tell you stat, even when they are contracting each other and without explanation, if you ask why, you are in trouble. Disrespectful treatment and lies must be expected from some of the supervisors and you must take them; if you defend yourself, you have a “written out” and with 3 you are out=fired. Pretending to care is the norm, but when you really care and show new ideas and possibilities, a putting down is what you get. Plus your ideas are taken by management as theirs, using them word, by word, with no recognition whatsoever. Commit an error, even if was to help the community, and get fired by phone without any opportunity to do anything, nor say goodbye to co-workers, (ciao!). Its in the contract indeed! They do use it well, getting fired many go, many come. The treatment of workers is appalling and insidious, people don’t noticed because they need their job. You will have only 30 minutes to eat your lunch. Lastly, you will work on several places with different people, every day is a re-do of workflow, (protocols are not followed). The daily mixing of people, is a clear strategy to limit any aliases; you just work with utterly limited development or advance. It’s really a gap job. Trust me on this, don’t waste your time if you want a proper job.
